Bio
David Michael Williams has suffered from a storytelling addiction for as long as he can remember. He flaunts his love affair with the written word as an author of speculative fiction that spans—and splices—the realms of fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, and dreampunk.
His books include a sword-and-sorcery trilogy, The Renegade Chronicles, and its companion Magic’s Daughter; The Lost Tale of Sir Larpsalot, a YA fantasy novel; The Soul Sleep Cycle, a genre-bending series that explores life, death, and the dreamscape; and the short-fiction collection Ghost Mode & Other Strange Stories.
David is also a game writer and editor, regularly freelancing for a prolific publisher of tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) and contributing characters and quests to an indie video game studio. His first full-length adventure, The Curse of Er’Mah’Gerd, debuted in 2023.
David lives in Wisconsin with the best wife on this or any other world and their two weird-in-a-good-way children.
